“Love – is the power that draws the fragments of the universe together and binds them into a divine harmony the whole universe and everything in it.  Love is the attracting, harmonize, unifying faculty of Spirit; it is the building forces of the universe.  It is our power to comprehend our oneness with all things.

Divine love is impersonal; it loves for the sake of loving.  It is not concerned with what or who it loves, nor with a return of love.  Like the sun, its joy is in the shining forth of its nature.   Love is an inner quality that sees good everywhere and in everybody.  It insists that all is good, and by refusing to see any thing but good it causes that quality finally to appear uppermost in itself.

Love, in Divine Mind, is the idea of universal unity.  In expression, love is the power that joins and binds in divine harmony the universe and everything in it. Among the faculties of the mind, love is pivotal. CH                                          

DIVINE LOVE is the force that dissolves all the opposers of true thought and thus smoothes out every obstacle that presents itself.  When love ascends the throne and takes complete possession of our life its rule is just and in harmony with all things.  Even destructive faculties, such as resistance, opposition, obstinacy, anger, jealousy, are harmonized through love.  Perfect love casts out all fear.  When love harmonizes the consciousness we find that our outer affairs are put in order and that where once there seemed to be opposition and fear cooperation and trust prevail.                              Keep a True Lent 30

One good definition of love is that it is the feeling that excites desire for the welfare of its object.  If all people would recognize love as embodying this ideal--recognize that God loves all men to the degree that He has poured out His life and substance and intelligence equally with us in the universal scheme--they would find in it the solution to every problem of life.  . 

The calling of the apostle John consists in bringing into one's consciousness a right understanding of the true character of love, also in exercising love in all the relations of life.  One should make it a practice to meditate regularly on the love idea in universal Mind, with the prayer, Divine love, manifest thyself in me.  Then there should be periods of mental concentration on the love center in the cardiac plexus, near the heart.  Think about love with the attention drawn within the heart, and a quickening will follow; all the ideas that go to make up love will be set into motion.  This produces a positive love current, which, when sent forth with power, will break up opposing thoughts of hate, rendering them null & void                                                                                    Christian Healing 131
