The Magical, Wizardcal Kind of Things

The Magical, Wizardcal Kind of Things

Unity, like other New Thought Traditions, struggles with the concept of whether or not we are Christian.  Charles Fillmore very rigorously declared he was and I agree with him whole heartedly! After all our teachings are based on the teachings of Jesus, who had a unique and fascinating view of the world; nothing like the Theologies of Modern Day Christianity.  Jesus was after all, a Jew, a mystical Jew of the Essene Tradition. How do I know this?  I was shared a very unique vision of history (Endorsed by the History Channel), knowing this when I look at a map of Jesus time, I see Jesus lived in the heartland of the Essene Community. Then when I studied pieces of Mystical Judaism, I realized Jesus taught the very same concepts: The I Am, as the name of God; The Field of Living Energy, in which we live move and have our Being: The 12 Mystical Powers of the Tree of Life; The Logos; and more. When we look at and explore these teaching they might seem as magical, wizardical kind of things, but then we are seeing them from the perspective of our physical reality. As Jesus demonstrated and taught to bring about a new world, we must rise up into an awareness of Our Father’s House (a higher dwelling place) and Its Many Mansions (many layers of consciousness). Developing the awareness of these other layers of consciousness opens our mind and heart to an energy, a synergy, we may never have experienced before. With this in mind, we (the board and our membership) have decided in the process of consensus, to create the Living Room of the Soul, to help us all move into awareness of this new energy rising! If you like this idea and would like to contribute, we would really like that! The chairs in all will be about $6,500, we have raised $4725 to this point. Each chair is $50. The carpet will be about $5700. So, we need your help, and please be aware of fun-raisers to come. Visualize with us, that all the money we need for this renovation is coming at the right and perfect time.

That’s kind of a mystical gnostic thing.
