Fishing On the Sea of Infinite Possibilities

Fishing On the Sea of Infinite Possibilities
A Visioning Workshop

Sunday January 6th at 1:00 pm

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to fish on the Sea of Infinite Possibilities, as just as Jesus taught his disciples to do? Visioning is something that many components of the New Thought Movement encourage.  Many of your friends might even asked you, “Have you set your New Year’s Resolutions yet?” Often those visions and resolutions fall by the wayside. Why? Well, a few of the most important components are left out!  I would like to share a guided meditation with you and then a process I have learned over the last few years, that include those missing components.  Often these components get left out because our ego (or as we often say our egue) is unconsciously trying to gets its way! So, invite you to come stand in the creative vortex with me, and allow the prompting of your inner voice and passion to step forward.   This workshop will blend a meditation with journaling and a conversation about the key components of “spirit’s vision” for you.  The length will be just around an hour.  Presented on a love offering basis and will be facilitated by Rev. Doc. Patrick.

An example of going fishing on the Sea of Infinite Possibilities, is this picture which is a picture I recently had developed and turned into a wall paper, so to speak. When I finished painting my master bedroom, I stood in the center of the room and said, “Ok God, what do I do next.” Suddenly I had this urge to put wall paper behind and above the spot I would put the bed I was going to buy. I went looking on line and couldn’t find any wall paper that moved me. So, I centered myself and said, “Ok, what do I do?” and the picture of the cover of the Miracle Before Your Eyes came to my mind. The picture is of one of the most magical day I have ever had. So, I began looking for a wall paper company that might make specially designed wall paper. I came across one! I placed the order and when I hit send, I realized it was actually a company that created pictures to order on canvas.  Waiting for the picture to come I built the frame with this very unique trim. Now that it is hanging on the wall, all I can say is “Oh my God, is that beautiful, what a Christmas present.”  Now I want to point out, the pile of stuff under the picture is actually my new bed, with lots of pictures I am going to hang, sometime soon. I have more tales to tell, so join us for a fun uplifting creative exercise.
